About Me

Greg Gottlieb

Hello! I'm Greg, a developer with a passion for innovating technology and using software to solve problems. My journey in coding started back in 5th grade when I made my first game and has grown into a lifelong dream where I hope to pioneer the future using AI.

I am currently a student at Purdue University, pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Data Science, and Applied Statistics. This interdisciplinary foundation allows me to approach problems from multiple angles, combining software engineering principles with rigorous data analysis.

I'm always looking for software development opportunities where I can make a direct impact and contribute to meaningful projects. Feel free to reach out if you'd like to chat about technology, potential opportunities, or a simple coffee chat!

My Journey

The Beginning

My interest in programming sparked early, thanks to my dad. He was a software developer and I grew up wanting to be just like him. Here is a picture of us for his take your son to work day.

First Game in 5th Grade

My friend Jack and I created our first game together. We both took an early interest in programming and pretty quickly "Giant Hunters" was born.

Heading to Purdue

The in state rivalry runs strong in my family. My decision to attend Purdue solidified the even divide of three attending IU and three attending Purdue. Game days are rough, but it was here I began to build a solid foundation in key concepts including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.

First Internship

Growing up, I always said I was going to take over my dads' businesses. While this never lined up, I had the priviledge of working for him one summer and achieving my dream of working for the family business.

More Internships

My internships at companies like Medxcel and The Heritage Group were my first taste of the professional world. I had the chance to work on real-world problems, from data analytics to internal software tools, learning invaluable lessons about teamwork, deadlines, and impact.

The Future with AI

Today, I'm captivated by the potential of Artificial Intelligence. My goal is to be at the forefront of this technological revolution, building intelligent systems that solve complex problems and create a better future. The journey is just beginning.
